I've ridden all summer on this bike. It's a frame that Phil Fisher gave me after my Paramount was stolen 15 years ago. Thanks to sympathetic pals at the Downtube who gave me parts to get it on the road! It's pretty valueless as bikes go, a wrecked and straightened Fuji S12, but it's steady on the descents and gets me where I want to go.
23.5" frame, 27" wheels, Regina 7-cog freewheel, Suntour derailleurs, GB stem and cantilever brakes, TA crank, Normandy hubs and Wolber blue-label rims, pretty oldfashioned, I like the way it looks.
I've been commuting to work mostly, and a ride out to Schoharie village a few weeks ago was a lot of fun. Seems like I'm getting back into cycling. Cathy says she wants to try a tandem, so who knows what will happen.
